MicroSurvey Announces OfficeSync - A Wireless Data Management Service For The Mobile Workforce

WESTBANK, BC - MicroSurvey® Software Inc, a leading developer of specialized software for land surveyors, civil engineers, mapping technologists, police officers and accident reconstruction specialists, is pleased to announce the release of OfficeSync, a wireless data management service for companies that collect, control and transport sensitive field data. OfficeSync establishes a secure and reliable wireless "data pipeline" between remote field crews and their offices. With OfficeSync any electronic files can be transferred easily with no file size limitations or hardware configuration hurdles.

OfficeSync saves time and increases profitability for surveying, engineering, site inspection and other services that regularly move important data files between the job site and their project offices. OfficeSync manages the assignment and distribution of job files or construction documents to field crews, thus eliminating the coordination difficulties of using personal email accounts or numerous cellular phone plans. All data transactions are centrally controlled.

OfficeSync has two key advantages: 1. Reliable and easy to use, it requires virtually no training and; 2. all wireless transfers are managed and coordinated through a central Interagent called the OfficeSync Gateway. The Gateway maintains an audit trail of all document traffic, ensuring an accurate and accountable record of data workflow over the lifespan of a job or project.
